My Background
Years of experience across sport, coaching and movement continue to shape the way I assess, treat and support my clients.
Every experience has shaped the way I work today. My formal qualifications provide the clinical knowledge, while years spent playing sport, coaching others and training myself have given me an appreciation of what it actually feels like to push the body, recover well and stay active over the long term.
Whether you’re an athlete, a gym-goer or simply looking to move more comfortably, my aim is always the same: to understand your individual needs and help you move with greater confidence.
Ice hockey has been a part of my life since I was young, and I continue to play as an adult. It’s a demanding sport that requires strength, mobility, balance and resilience, and has given me first-hand experience of what it takes to manage the recovery and training for physically demanding activity.

Strength Training. For many years I immersed myself in strength training, spending time in bodybuilding, powerlifting and Olympic weightlifting.
Those years taught me far more than how to lift weights. They gave me a practical understanding of bio-mechanics, recovery, progressive training and the importance of balancing performance with long-term health. It’s an experience I draw upon regularly when working with active clients.
Watersports Coaching
I spent many summer seasons as a watersports instructor, teaching windsurfing, paddleboarding, wakeboarding and sailing.
Working with large groups and one to one clients of all ages. The importance of adapting my coaching to suit different personalities, confidence levels and abilities was key to helping people benefit from the sessions and come away feeling competent in a new skill.

Yoga
For the past eight years I’ve maintained a dedicated yoga practice, studying Classical Hatha Yoga and Kriya Yoga through Sadhguru’s teachings.
Yoga has changed the way I think about the human system entirely. It redefined what posture really means, what breath-work really means, body awareness and meditation. These principles naturally evolved my work as a therapist.
